Inferno Student Ministry

MISSION

Here at Inferno Student Ministry, we desire for our students to have a friendly heart, ready to imitate Jesus, respond to the Spirit, and encourage one another to FAN INTO FLAME!

MEETING TIMES

 Every Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

PRE-SERVICE HANGOUT

Middle school and High school students are welcome to arrive as early as 6:30pm on Wednesday Nights. Students arrive at the front entrance of the church and head down into the multi-purpose room (gym). After checking in, students are invited to engage in a variety of fun activities set up in the MPR.

SERVICE

At 7:30pm, we start moving students upstairs to the Sanctuary for a dynamic worship service. These services include fun and engaging programming elements, powerful and inspiring worship and practical teaching that addresses the real life issues students are facing.

CORE VALUES

  • Friendliness: Loving God and Loving others is a command God gives us in Mark 12:30-31, “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. ‘The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” We desire to have a welcoming environment where students may feel loved and valued.
  • Imitation: Matthew 16:24 states, “then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” The aspect of imitating Christ with everything we do is vital. Having a lifestyle of imitating Christ daily is practiced here.
  • Response: Cultivating hearts that respond to the Gospel and love of God. Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the Earth.”
  • Encouragement: To put it simply, we strive to encourage our students to run after God every day. Hebrews 10:24-25, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
