Roger Christian

Trustee/Custodian

Born to humble beginnings in East Stroudsburg, PA. Roger attended and graduated from East Stroudsburg High School where he also wrestled.  He went on to attend Bloomsburg University.  He then attended and graduated from PInebrook Jr. College.  Then attended and graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. In 1980 Roger married his wife Holly.  They subsequently produced two daughters Nova Beth and Ginger Leigh.  During this transition in his life, Roger has worked at various jobs, the most prominent being Hunterdon Developmental Center in New Jersey.  He is currently retired. Roger’s interests are mostly in the realm of science and collecting various objects of interest.  He enjoys bird watching and gardening and any subject relating to edible wild plants. A member of the Board of Trustees at Bethel for many years, Roger currently holds the position of Secretary, and is also a church custodian.  During his many years at Bethel, Roger has been a member of several mission trips.  These include maintenance and building projects at Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, Mississippi after Katrina, JAARS in North Carolina, Ramabai Mukti Mission in India, and participated in an English camp at North Valley Bible Camp in Brazil. Roger enjoys the fellowship here at Bethel and has learned many spiritual truths under the guidance of the spiritual leaders, the foremost being how to humbly serve the Lord in all things.
